Antonio Conte has a new interesting name as a potential reinforcement in attack, with Everton’s Sandro Ramirez a potential January target for Chelsea.
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Chelsea might have an interesting new option to reinforce their attack come January. Alvaro Morata has put forward the name of Everton outcast Sandro Ramirez as an option, with the former Barcelona man frustrated at Goodison Park.
Sandro Ramirez’s arrival at Goodison was treated as perhaps the bargain buy of the transfer window. However, a few months into the decision, it is not all well for the player and the club. While the club have struggled to find the back of the net, Ramirez has failed to establish himself in the first-team setup after being afforded only a few chances.
With Ronald Koeman no longer the manager, David Unsworth has been putting his faith in the young graduates within the club wherever possible. With the growing uncertainty surrounding the rich but seemingly fragile project that is Everton, Sandro Ramirez might just be interested in a move.
Indeed, Ramirez was one of the most talked-of strikers in the summer transfer window, with his meager release clause and his goalscoring ability the point of contention at every top club. While he may have taken a backseat at Goodison, his ability cannot be questioned.

Antonio Conte’s frustration in his pursuit of Fernando Llorente is well documented. The Italian was left without another striker apart from Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi – the effect of which has been seen in a few games.
And the manager has now turned to Alvaro Morata to provide a name to reinforce the attack, with the Spaniard opting to name compatriot Sandro Ramirez. Indeed, the youngster will be a realistic target, with his future mired in uncertainty in Merseyside.
The former Barcelona man could add to the growing Spanish contingent at Stamford Bridge. And, for the same reason, the striker could take a considerably lesser time to settle in among his new teammates, if the player does make the move.
For now, the move might depend on the new Everton manager and whether he does use Ramirez more frequently than Koeman did and Unsworth is using as at the present moment.
