Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on French under-17 international Lenny Pintor, who currently plays for Stade Brestois.
According to a report by French publication RMC Sport, highly rated French under-17 international Lenny Pintor is attracting interest from a slew of clubs across Europe. The teenage prodigy is the subject of interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City as well as clubs in his native France.
Pintor completed his footballing education at SC Bastia, progressing through various levels at the club as scouts started turning their attention towards him. The 17-year-old attacker, though, ended up signing his first professional contract with Ligue 2 club Stade Brestois, having joined them in the summer.
A technically gifted attacker, who has been hailed for his versatility to play across the front-line while also making brilliant use of his pace, Pintor has often been likened to Ousmane Dembele, who joined Barcelona this past summer, for his playmaking abilities as well.
Pintor also made a lot of impression on scouts present all across India during the ongoing FIFA under-17 World Cup as he featured prominently for Les Bleuets. The French side were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Spain, but the teenager stood out for his side as he netted the only goal for Jean-Claude Giuntini’s team.

Scouts from several clubs were in attendance during the match, including those from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, who have sent glowing reports to their respective clubs’ setups on the player.
The three English clubs are known to actively pursue deals for talented youngsters across the world for their academies, with City in particular poaching exciting prospects from several top youth setups. At the same time, Chelsea’s youth squads are some of the most successful teams in their respective divisions.
Having said that, Arsenal would perhaps provide the quickest route into first-team football, with Arsene Wenger constantly promoting talented youth players into his senior squad, as evidenced by the advent of the likes of Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles recently.
With Alexis Sanchez’s future up in the air as of now, Pintor could fast track into the first-team setup, if he continues his impressive development. However, French clubs Marseille and Nice are also in the running to snatch the player from Brestois, setting up an exciting transfer battle for his services.
Therefore, the world seems to be at Pintor’s feet at the moment, and it remains to be seen if he continues attracting interest from several top clubs across Europe. For now though, he must continue his steep rise as a prospect in order to see his stock skyrocketing at the same time.
