Chelsea’s Eden Hazard reveals that he would consider an offer to move to reigning European Champions Real Madrid in the summer

As per The Mirror, Hazard recently revealed that he would consider moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, should an offer come his way in the upcoming transfer window. “Of course I will look at that. Honestly, I do not know what will happen to me,” he said.

After what was a disastrous 2015/16 season where he was linked away with a move to Real Madrid and PSG, the Belgian international recently won his second Premier League title with Chelsea and thanks to Antonio Conte, all seems to be well at Stamford Bridge once again.

Chelsea will return to Europe’s elite competition in the coming season after spending a year away due to their 10th placed finish the season before and the 26-year-old insisted that the Blues had now set their sights on winning the Champions League.

“We want to go further, including in the Champions League,” he said. Hazard, who has three years left on his current  contract, insisted that though he felt good in West London, one must not rule out any possibilities. “I feel good at Chelsea, but you never know what can happen.”

The Real Madrid hierarchy have always been reported to be keen admirers of the former Lille forward. In April it was reported that Los Blancos were willing to shell out a massive £120 million in order to convince Chelsea to let go of their prized asset.

However, with a squad already rife with world class players like Gareth Bale, Isco and James Rodriguez and youngsters such as Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio getting better with each and every performance, it remains to be seen whether Zidane & co. would still want Hazard.

TALKING TACTICS: HOW WOULD EDEN HAZARD FIT IN AT REAL MADRID?

To further complicate matters, he picked up an ankle injury while training while on international duty with Belgium and is now said to be in London, preparing for a surgery. He is expected to be out of action for 3 months, which means he may miss the start of the new campaign.

Speaking about a possible move to the Spanish Champions, Hazard joked: “It would be best for me to sit on the bench,” before going on to say: “But of course I also want to win trophies. The Champions League would be beautiful. But that’s also a goal for Chelsea.”

With 17 goals and 7 assists to his name, Hazard is well and truly back to his very best and was pivotal to Chelsea’s resurgence this season. Chelsea were reportedly willing to offer the Belgian a massive £300,000-per-week to fend off any potential suitors.

Antonio Conte & co. will be desperate to win the Champions League on their return to the competition and Hazard’s desperation to win the title will only bode well for the newly crowned Premier League Champions, should they manage to hold on to him in the summer.
