AC Milan are reportedly ready to rival the Premier League trio of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea in the pursuit of French sensation Moussa Dembele.
According to an exclusive report from the Daily Express, the Premier League trio of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea have suffered a setback in their pursuit of Celtic superstar Moussa Dembele, with AC Milan emerging as a high-profile suitor for the French sensation.
Moussa Dembele has become one of the most talked about players of the current time, alongside fellow countryman Kylian Mbappe. Dembele, though, unlike Mbappe was underrated heavily and only gained traction after completing a low-money move to Celtic.
He has been on fire for Celtic this season especially, with 32 goals and 9 assists in 49 games. It is not just the goals but the performance of the 20-year-old that has seen him drw interest from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea.
Arsenal are in need of a striker full of flair – one who can take up the mantle of leading the frontline with aplomb, especially with the Gunners set to lose Alexis Sanchez. And even if the Chilean stays, Wenger would love to utilise the player in a withdrawn role on the left side and add a striker to the ranks at Emirates.

Tottenham, though, are likely to deploy Dembele in a more withdrawn role on the wing as a replacement for Moussa Sissoko, who has been largely underwhelming for Spurs and has been linked with a summer exit only a season into his career at White Hart Lane.
Chelsea, on the other hand, could provide the perfect platform for Dembele, with Diego Costa looking to return to Atletico Madrid in the summer, which would open up a spot up front – a spot which can be ably filled with the arrival of Dembele.
The Blues have been thought to be the frontrunners for his signature. However, AC Milan’s entry into the race may complicate things. The Rossoneri are set to axe Carlos Bacca from the squad in the summer and have been linked to being very close to securing the services of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.
However, Milan are looking to add another striker to potentially partner Morata upfront and Dembele has been eyed as a viable target. The player is valued around £40 million by Celtic – an amount AC Milan’s new owners will not think twice about if it lands them the 20-year-old.
It is sure to be an exciting summer for all the aforementioned clubs and even though Brendan Rodgers may refuse to accept the fate, Moussa Dembele’s departure looks imminent. His destination though, is still unclear.
