Barcelona will bid to return to normalcy following their Parisien nightmare as they entertain relegation favourites Leganes at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Not that it’ll make much difference to his declining credibility, but Luis Enrique will have a point to prove at the Camp Nou against Leganes during the weekend.

The boss has come in for heavy criticism in recent months and the chorus reached new heights following their disastrous first leg encounter against Paris St. Germain in the Champions League.

With two weeks to prepare before they set out to overcome a himalayan first-leg deficit, Barcelona will look to keep their faint hopes of a league title alive by keeping pace with Real Madrid, who lead by 4 points with a game in hand.

Aleix Vidal and Javier Mascherano both are once again set to miss out due to injury with the former yet to recover from his knock against Eibar.

Neymar, one among the few players that emerged with any credit on Tuesday is fit to face Leganes despite injury worries following the game against PSG.

Sergio Busquets is suspended for Sunday’s encounter after he picked up is fifth yellow card of the season during Barcelona’s 6-0 demolition of Alaves last week.

There are little chances Enrique will overhaul the tactics he has been using so far but one may expect Denis Suarez to make an appearance on Sunday following Andre Gomes’ poor showing on the night against Paris. With Busquets absent Rakitic could take the reigns in the centre of the park along with Andres Iniesta and Suarez.

Samuel Umtiti will slot in at centre-back, in the place of Mascherano, along with Gerard Pique. Sergi Roberto will be deputizing for Vidal at right-back.

The pressure is mounting on Luis Enrique at the moment and he’ll have to return to business quickly and produce the desired results if he is to harbour any hopes of retaining his job for next season.
