Luis Suarez, Javier Mascherano and Marc-Andre ter Stegen have all recovered from their injury concerns, and will be in contention to line up against Deportivo on Saturday.

Barcelona have not enjoyed the best of starts to their La Liga season. Going into the season as defending champions, hopes were high on Luis Enrique’s men to repeat the feat, but that unfortunately has not happened.

Instead, the Catalan giants have looked like a shadow of their old selves, and have started to take a lackadaisical approach towards the games. They seem to be complacent, and it is something that Enrique would quickly like to eradicate.

Losses against minnows Deportivo Alaves and Celta Vigo is not what their manager had in mind going into the season, and he will undoubtedly be in a bit of a bother to see his side in a relatively unfamiliar fourth position on the La Liga table.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom for the gaffer as three of his key first-team players have recuperated from their respective injuries, and will be contention to be given a nod on Saturday.

Spanish media outlet Sport reports that the trio of Luis Suarez, Javier Mascherano and Marc-Andre ter Stegen have all returned to full training. They joined the rest of the Barcelona players at the Ciutat Esportiva in Sant Joan Despi, building up to the weekend’s game against Deportivo.

South American duo Suarez and Mascherano represented Uruguay and Argentina respectively during the international break, and are likely to start on Saturday. The Camp Nou faithful have not seen a lot of minutes of Messi, Suarez and Neymar on the field, and that could be a possibility on the weekend.

Ter Stegen, too, traveled with the Germany squad, but could not play a single minute for Die Mannschaft because of the presence of long-time number one keeper Manuel Neuer. However, new signing Jasper Cilissen is likely to be given the nod in-between the sticks for the Blaugrana outfit.
