Transfer Rumour: Manchester City join Arsenal in race for Juventus wonderkid Moise Kean

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race alongside Arsenal for Juventus wonderkid Moise Kean.

Sports Mole have claimed that Manchester City are showing interest in Juventus’ striking prodigy Moise Kean. The 16-year-old has been impressive at various age groups for Juventus and has already become a part of the Old Lady’s U-20 team at such a young age.

The Under-17 Italy international was the subject of contract talks with Juventus to sign a professional contract with the Turin outfit. But the negotiations between the club’s representatives and Kean’s agent stalled, which was followed by news of interest brewing in the player from England in the form of Premier League outfit Arsenal.

It is noteworthy that the player’s agent is Mino Raiola, the man who is one of the leading agents in the business and was the one responsible for the transfer of Paul Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United.

The negotiations regarding Kean’s contract seems to have stalled due to the varying demands of each side, which seems to have put a hurdle in the path of the 16-year-old signing his first pro-contract.

And, now, Manchester City have seemingly entered the picture with reports that they are ready to battle with Arsenal and Juventus and offer the player a professional deal. City Watch have further claimed that new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has personally endorsed a move for the player, with the Spaniard seeing the player as a future part of the first-team setup at Etihad.

The interest from Manchester City and Arsenal seems like a wake-up call for Juventus, who must now wrap up a deal for the player that scored 24 times in 25 appearances for the club’s youth side last season as soon as possible or face the possibility of losing another talented player to the illustrious English Premier League.

Mino Raiola had previously stated that he wishes the best for his young client and wants first-team guarantees in the near future in order to sign a deal with Juventus and could bring the player across to England if either Arsenal or Manchester City agree to his demands.
