Juventus have officially announced the signing of Liverpool target Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Croatian’s future has been the subject of speculation from the end of last season with a host of top clubs interested in making a move for the player. Premier League side Liverpool reportedly had a bid rejected for Pjaca with the bid falling short of Zagreb’s asking price. Juventus were supposedly close to sealing a permanent transfer for the Croatian international and have now finally managed to get their man despite a late attempt by Liverpool to hijack the move.
The Bianconeri have, through the club’s website, officially announced the capture of Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb. The 21-year old has signed a five-year contract with Juventus completing the €23m move with the fee to be paid over the next two years. The player was welcomed by a small group of fans at the J-Medical centre where he underwent his medical before signing the contract to make the deal official.

Marko Pjaca has already achieved the “double-double” with Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia and would feel this is the right time to take the next step in his blossoming career. Juventus were long-time admirers of the Croatian and were reportedly on the lookout for a winger after the end of Cuadrado’s loan at Turin.
The winger, at the age of 21, has a long career ahead of him and would be looking forward to add some trophies and achievements on his way in his footballing journey as a part of the Serie A champions while continuing to develop as a player.
