Liverpool looked to have suffered a fatal blow when Villarreal scored in the dying stages of the first leg at El Madrigal, but the Reds’ response at Anfield was a true statement of their intent.

Liverpool routed their Spanish adversaries 3-0 to book their spot in the final of the Europa League, with Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino the stars of an outstanding performance.

Manager Jurgen Klopp was naturally over the moon after his side’s triumph and his celebration after the match was something to behold.

Twitter had its say on the celebration as well, providing further suggestions on how the German could have celebrated.

Jurgen Klopp was hailed for his brilliant management of a team that he has merely inherited from Brendan Rodgers.

This will be Liverpool’s first European final in nine years. The last time they were in a European final, Liverpool lost 2-1 to AC Milan after a brilliant performance by Brazilian star Kaka.
