Chelsea FC, in a stunning swoop, are set to transfer Arsenal FC’s Chilean star Alexis Sanchez, as the Blues look to get back to their winning ways in the coming seasons of the Premier League.

The Blues have been struggling for form this season, and are surprisingly in a relegation battle at the bottom half of the table. They have appointed former manager Guus Hiddink as the interim man to take their team forward till the end of the season after sacking fan-favourite Jose Mourinho.

They are set to name a permanent manager in the summer of 2016. One of the managers who is reportedly on their wish-list is former Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli. Interestingly, the Argentine is looking to lure his former Chile star Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal FC if he himself signs for the Blues, according to the Daily Express.

Sanchez to cost Chelsea FC a fortune

The Chilean forward is very highly rated at Arsenal FC, and Chelsea FC might have to spend a lot of money to lure Sanchez away from the Emirates. Sanchez, who was reportedly signed by Arsenal FC for around £35 million, is currently priced at approximately £42 million by Transfermarkt. But the Blues would probably have to spend a lot more than that to convince Arsenal FC to let him go. However, Chelsea FC have never been shy of spending big, and a move for Sanchez could very well be on the cards.

End of Hazard’s Chelsea FC career?

Last year’s player of the season Eden Hazard has reportedly not been too happy with his current stay at West London, and the Blues could be looking at Sanchez as a possible replacement for the Belgian star. Real Madrid are believed to be interested in Hazard. Chelsea FC could use the high fee they are likely to get for the Belgian to raise the funds for a Sanchez transfer.
