Mikel Arteta names an unchanged side to face Everton, with Leandro Trossard leading the line in the false-nine role.

Mikel Arteta has kept it simple against Everton as he names an unchanged side from the narrow win over Leicester City. The Gunners boss will look for ways to attack the Toffees side coached by Sean Dyche, known for his defensive setups.

Thomas Partey is only fit for a bench role in this game, where he has the company of Eddie Nketiah, Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith-Rowe. In the Ghanaian’s place, Jorginho makes his third consecutive start for Arsenal and will sit at the base of midfield.

At the back, Aaron Ramsdale keeps his place in goal and has the regular backline ahead of him. Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko form the back four for Arsenal.

In the Arsenal midfield, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard will play on either side of Jorginho. Arteta has seemingly liked what Leandro Trossard offered in the last game and has chosen to retain the Belgian to lead the line. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will complete the Gunners front three.

Confirmed Arsenal Lineup (4-3-3) Ramsdale; Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Jorginho, Xhaka; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
