Conor Gallagher makes his full Premier League debut for Chelsea while Marc Cucurella is again preferred over Ben Chilwell against Leeds United.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made just one change to the team that started against Tottenham last weekend for their latest Premier League clash against Leeds United at Elland Road. The solitary change comes in the middle of the park, where academy graduate Conor Gallagher gets his first start for the Blues. He replaces the injured N’Golo Kante and partners Jorginho in midfield.
Tuchel has again decided to utilise Reece James as the right-sided centre-half in his three-pronged defensive unit, with Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly taking up the other two positions. Edouard Mendy, meanwhile, continues to guard the Chelsea goal.

James’ slotting in at centre-back means that Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets another go from the right-sided wing-back slot after he impressed in the role against Tottenham. New signing Marc Cucurella is retained over Ben Chilwell on the opposite flank after the Spaniard got an assist on his full debut versus Spurs last weekend.
Finally, the attacking trident of Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz remains untouched, with the likes of Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech providing options from the bench.
Chelsea Starting Lineup: Mendy, James, Silva, Koulibaly, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Gallagher, Cucurella, Mount, Havertz, Sterling.
