Naby Keita and Diogo Jota come in for Jordan Henderson and Luis Diaz, respectively, as Liverpool get set to face Everton in the Merseyside derby.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a couple of changes to the lineup that thrashed Manchester United in midweek for their Premier League encounter against local rivals Everton at Anfield.

There are no alterations made at the back as Alisson Becker continues between the sticks while the backline comprising Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson remains intact for Liverpool.

The first of the two changes comes in the middle of the park as Klopp has opted to rest his captain, Jordan Henderson. In place of the England ace, Naby Keita gets the nod. Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara retain their spots in the Reds’ midfield unit.

The second change is made in the attacking unit as January signing Luis Diaz has been withdrawn from the starting XI. Replacing the Colombian international is Diogo Jota, who will be flanked by the deadly duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. Roberto Firmino is absent from the matchday squad as he recovers from a foot injury.

Liverpool Starting Lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Keita, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Jota, Mane.
