Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the starting XI while Diogo Dalot replaces Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Manchester United get set to take on Arsenal in the Premier League.

Manchester United caretaker manager Michael Carrick has made a few changes to the side that started against Chelsea for the Premier League encounter against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Two of the alterations come in the defence where Aaron Wan-Bissaka has dropped out of the lineup, making way for Diogo Dalot, who starts his first Premier League clash in over two years. After serving out his suspension, Harry Maguire also returns to the side, replacing Eric Bailly. Victor Lindelof and Alex Telles hold on to their positions while David de Gea continues in goal.

Nemanja Matic, who started over the weekend, has been dropped, with Carrick reverting to a 4-2-3-1 formation against Arsenal. That sees Scott McTominay and Fred form the midfield double pivot structure while Bruno Fernandes dons the playmaking hat in the No. 10 role.

Jadon Sancho, who has scored twice in the last two games, retains his spot in the side, slotting in on the right flank while Marcus Rashford starts on the left. Cristiano Ronaldo, who was surprisingly benched against Chelsea, makes a return to the starting lineup for Manchester United against Arsenal.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, McTominay, Fred, Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford, Ronaldo.
