Marcus Rashford replaces Edinson Cavani in attack while Paul Pogba starts as Manchester United get set to take on Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made three changes to the side that beat Tottenham at the weekend for their Champions League away game against Atalanta.

The first of these three alterations is an enforced one as Eric Bailly steps into the three-man backline in place of the injured Victor Lindelof. The Ivory Coast international will line up alongside Eric Bailly and Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire as the trio shields David de Gea in goal.

Moving into the middle of the park, Paul Pogba, who missed the weekend clash due to suspension, is back in the starting XI against Atalanta. He replaces Fred in the side, with Scott McTominay retaining his place in the lineup. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw continue as the wing-backs, with Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles remaining on the bench.

Bruno Fernandes continues as the lone playmaker in the No. 10 role, with the Portuguese creator set to operate behind the two-pronged strikeforce of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford. The latter comes into the lineup at the expense of Edinson Cavani, who joins Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood on the bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: De Gea, Bailly, Varane, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Pogba, Shaw, Fernandes, Ronaldo, Rashford.
