Sadio Mane has been axed in favour of Diogo Jota while Ibrahima Konate gets the nod for Liverpool in the vital Premier League clash against Manchester United.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has opted to make just two changes to the lineup from the midweek win against Atletico Madrid for the huge Premier League encounter against bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The first change comes in the backline where summer signing Ibrahima Konate gets the nod ahead of veteran defender Joel Matip. He partners mainstay Virgil van Dijk in shielding goalkeeper Alisson Becker while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson continue as the two full-backs.

This is how we line up to face @ManUtd. Fabinho misses out with a knock to his knee, which is not thought to be a long-term issue. #MUNLIV

The midfield trident of captain Jordan Henderson, veteran James Milner and Naby Keita is retained by Klopp as Brazilian enforcer Fabinho misses out of the squad due to a knee issue. Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are options on the bench for Liverpool.
Going into the attacking unit, Klopp has made a huge call to bench Senegalese speedster Sadio Mane against Manchester United. In his stead, it is Diogo Jota who starts for Liverpool, pairing up with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool Starting Lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Jota.
