Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe start while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang misses out as Arsenal gear up to face off against Sheffield United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made several changes to the side that took the field against Slavia Prague in midweek for their Premier League clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Bernd Leno retains his spot in goal but the fit-again Calum Chambers has replaced Hector Bellerin at right-back. Pablo Mari gets the nod over Gabriel Magalhaes as Rob Holding’s centre-back partner while Bukayo Saka, who has been Arsenal’s best attacking player recently has moved into the left-back slot, in place of Cedric Soares.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka continue to feature in the middle of the park for Arsenal. But both Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe are absent, which paves the way for Dani Ceballos to get the nod in the midfield unit against Sheffield United.

Moving into the final third, Nicolas Pepe starts on the right-wing after impressing from the bench in midweek. Gabriel Martinelli makes a rare start as well, slotting out on the left flank while Alexandre Lacazette spearheads the Arsenal attack. Club captain and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been axed from the matchday squad completely because of flu.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Leno, Chambers, Holding, Mari, Saka, Ceballos, Xhaka, Partey, Pepe, Lacazette, Martinell.
