Arsenal have made no changes to the starting XI that defeated Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend, for their game against Aston Villa.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has decided to stick with the same starting lineup that led the Gunners to their first-ever win in 14 years at Old Trafford last weekend, as they get ready to take on Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

Having rung in the changes for the midweek clash against Molde in the UEFA Europa League, Arteta has reverted back to the three-man backline of Rob Holding, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney, while Bernd Leno continues between the sticks for the hosts.

Hector Bellerin and Bukayo Saka will be the two wing-backs once again, while the midfield pairing of Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny, that worked wonders against Manchester United, is preferred once again versus Aston Villa.

Moving into the final third, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts on the left flank while Alexandre Lacazette occupies the centre-forward slot. Nicolas Pepe, who scored in midweek, is once again overlooked for a Premier League clash, with Willian starting on the right flank.

Arsenal Confirmed XI: Leno; Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Bellerin, Partey, Elneny, Saka; Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang.
