Joe Gomez misses out with a minor fitness concern while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain replaces Naby Keita in midfield for Liverpool against Watford.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to the side that defeated West Ham United last time out, for their away game against Watford on Saturday. The first of the two changes comes in defence where Joe Gomez misses out with an injury. The Englishman has been replaced by veteran defender Dejan Lovren.

The rest of the Liverpool backline remains unchanged, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson lining up as the full-backs while mainstay Virgil van Dijk partners Lovren at the centre. Alisson Becker continues in goal for Klopp’s side.

The second change comes in midfield where Naby Keita misses out with a supposed hip problem. Replacing the Guinean in the lineup is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who made an impression after coming on as a substitute against West Ham. Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum hold on to their spots in the middle of the park.

The first-choice attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane feature from the get-go for Liverpool against Watford. Youngsters Curtis Jones and Ki-Jana Hoever have been named among the substitutes.

Liverpool Confirmed XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
