Trent Alexander-Arnold comes in for Joe Gomez while Georginio Wijnaldum returns as Liverpool get set to take on Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that was held to a draw by Napoli in the UEFA Champions League, as Liverpool prepare to play hosts to Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.

Alisson Becker retains his place between the sticks, but the defensive line in front of him sees one shuffle. Joe Gomez has made way for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who returns to the right-back slot. Alexander-Arnold is joined by Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren and Andrew Robertson in the back four.

The remaining changes come in midfield. The injured Fabinho is also suspended and Jordan Henderson takes up the mantle of the defensive midfielder in his stead. Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the players coming into the side, with James Milner the other change in the middle of the park apart from Fabinho.

Up ahead in attack, there is no looking past the usual suspects, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Gomez and Milner are among the substitutes, with Xherdan Shaqiri also making an appearance on the bench.
