Reece James and Andreas Christensen have both been handed starts in a crucial away game for Chelsea against Valencia in the Champions League.

Frank Lampard has once again chosen to go with youth as Chelsea face Valencia in a crunch away tie in an evenly poised Group H in the Champions League. Reece James starts on the right, with a pairing of Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen to guard the Chelsea goal. Kepa Arrizabalaga is between the posts for Chelsea.

Another interesting thing is Cesar Azpilicueta on the left. The Spaniard does have a history of playing as a left-back, but has not played in that position regularly for a while now. In midfield, the usual culprits have been named in the starting eleven, with N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic completing the three-man midfield.

The attacking trio is also an expected one, with Willian and Christian Pulisic out wide. Tammy Abraham continues to lead the line for Chelsea and will be looking to fire them to an important three points against Valencia.
