Reece James has been afforded a start by Frank Lampard as Cesar Azpilicueta starts in a 3-man backline for Chelsea against Lille in the Champions League.
Frank Lampard is the new Tinkerman. The Chelsea legend has reverted to a 3-man backline, with Fikayo Tomori and Andreas Christensen starting as expected. But, Cesar Azpilicueta has returned in central defence for Chelsea and it will be interesting to see if he performs better in a more withdrawn role.

Reece James looks like the long-term right-back choice for Lampard, with Marcos Alonso starting on the other flank. N’Golo Kante is fit again and starts in midfield for Chelsea against Lille, with Jorginho partnering him in the pivot role.
The attack sees the usual suspects start, with Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Willian reprising their roles. Christian Pulisic is not even on the bench, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Pedro, Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud among the attacking options on the bench.
