Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Tottenham: Ceballos dropped; Torreira and Lacazette start

Unai Emery has named a strong Arsenal lineup for the North London Derby against Tottenham at the Emirates with Lucas Torreira and Alexandre Lacazette starting.

Unai Emery has changed the shape of his team from the loss to Liverpool last weekend. Making only a few changes and tweaking the formation a bit, the manager has opted to start with a back four and a front three. Lucas Torreira comes into the side to make his first start of the season, while Alexandre Lacazette also makes the cut after starting on the bench in the last game.

Bernd Leno starts in goal, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac taking up the full-back roles on either flank. Emery has retained the central defensive partnership of Sokratis and David Luiz, with only Calum Chambers as a back to them for this game. Kolasinac is also making his first start of the season to replace Nacho Monreal who left the club yesterday for Real Sociedad.

Torreira makes his first start of the season after featuring as a substitute in the last few games, while also coming on late to score against Liverpool. Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi are retained in the side, with Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock dropping to the bench for this encounter.

Emery has finally opted to start his famous front three with Lacazette coming into the side after starting the last game on the bench. He will be supported by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe on either side of attack.

The Arsenal bench is a rather strong one with Emiliano Martinez, Chambers, Willock, Ceballos, Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Reiss Nelson all available there.

Arsenal Starting XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Torreira, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang
