N’Golo Kante has been passed fit enough to start for Chelsea in their 2018-19 UEFA Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku.

Chelsea have been handed a major injury boost as midfield mainstay N’Golo Kante is fit to start in their Europa League final contest against Arsenal. The Frenchman was believed to be a major injury doubt owing to a knee injury, but has managed to recover in time to earn a place in Maurizio Sarri’s starting lineup.

Kante is joined by Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic in the middle of the park, with Ross Barkley on the bench. Kepa Arrizabalaga mans the goal for the Blues, while there are no real surprises in selection in defence either. Emerson Palmieri gets the nod ahead of Marcos Alonso at left-back, with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Andreas Christensen completing the backline.

Eden Hazard takes his rightful place on the left side of the Chelsea attack, while Pedro is preferred over Brazilian winger Willian on the opposite flank. Olivier Giroud, who is the leading goalscorer in this season’s Europa League, leads the line for Chelsea against his former employers at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
