Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that beat Porto in the midweek, for their away assignment against Cardiff City on Sunday.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson returns to the starting lineup for the Premier League clash against Cardiff City in Wales. The England international did not start the Champions League quarter-final clash against Porto earlier in the week, but replaces Fabinho in the defensive midfield role for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

There is another change in the midfield department made by Klopp, with Guinean midfield dynamo Naby Keita coming back into the team at the expense of veteran James Milner. Georginio Wijnaldum retains his spot in the lineup.

There are no changes made by Klopp at the back, with Alisson continuing in goal, shielded by the back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson. Joe Gomez once again features on the bench.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah both keep hold of their places out on the flanks for Liverpool. The duo had scored in the reverse fixture earlier in the season and will be the Reds’ biggest threat in attack. Roberto Firmino returns to the starting XI, after having been replaced by Divock Origi for the midweek game against Porto.
