Liverpool Confirmed Lineup vs Chelsea: Matip in for Lovren; Robertson returns

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to his team for their crunch home game against Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool welcome back left-back Andrew Robertson to the starting lineup, when they face off against rivals Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday. The Scotsman missed the midweek win over FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League due to suspension, but is back into the team now. Veteran star James Milner drops out to the bench.

The second change for Liverpool also comes in defence, with Joel Matip returning to the starting XI, after not featuring against Porto in the midweek. The Cameroonian defender replaces Dejan Lovren, who is named among the substitutes.

Jordan Henderson will once again line up in a slightly advanced role in the middle of the park after impressing against Porto, while Naby Keita’s recent form is enough for him to keep the fit-again Georginio Wijnaldum out on the bench. Fabinho holds on to his place in the No.6 role.

The terrific trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all start for Liverpool, with Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri the options from the bench.
