Arsenal makes two changes from the side that beat Manchester United at the weekend as the Gunners host Rennes in the Europa League.
Unai Emery has retained nine of the eleven players that featured during Arsenal’s Premier League win over Manchester United. For the Rennes game, Shkodran Mustafi comes into the side in place of the suspended Sokratis, while Petr Cech replaces Bernd Leno in goal, as he has been the regular goalkeeper during cup games for Arsenal this season.
It’s hardly surprising that Emery has maintained the shape that was fruitful against Manchester United as Arsenal require goals tonight against Rennes. Emery had dropped Mustafi for the United game with Nacho Monreal preferred in his place.

Barring those two changes, Emery has retained all other players. Emery has preferred to stick with Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey in midfield despite the availability of Lucas Torreira in the squad. Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette all feature in a glittering attacking lineup as Arsenal look for some early goals to overturn the 3-1 deficit from the first leg.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who was a doubt before the game, has made it to the bench. Alongside him, Arsenal have a strong bench featuring the likes of Alex Iwobi, Denis Suarez, Matteo Guendouzi, and Eddie Nketiah.
