Maurizio Sarri has made eight changes to the side that beat BATE Borisov in the midweek Europa League tie as Chelsea prepare to host Everton at Stamford Bridge
Kepa Arrizabalaga, Jorginho and Eden Hazard are the only three players that have kept their places from Thursday’s fixture. Maurizio Sarri has chosen to replace the entire backline, as has been the norm when following up a Premier League game with a European clash.
Upfront, Alvaro Morata has replaced Olivier Giroud, with Pedro coming into the side for Willian. Ross Barkley will have to bide his time to feature against boyhood club Everton for the first time, with Mateo Kovacic taking his place. N’Golo Kante starts as well for Chelsea.
