Maurizio Sarri has made two changes to the side that beat Arsenal last week as Chelsea prepare to face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park
Ross Barkley and Willian are the players who have made way in the starting lineup from last week. The big news is that Eden Hazard has finally received his first start of the season, while Mateo Kovacic makes his full debut in Chelsea colours. Elsewhere, the defensive unit remains unchanged, with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante starting in midfield.
For Newcastle, Rafael Benitez has changed his system completely, with Fabian Schar, Ciaran Clark and Federico Fernandez starting a back-three. In all, the Spaniard has made six changes to his side, with last week’s flop, Chelsea loanee Kenedy dropping out due to the terms of his loan deal.
