Antonio Conte has chosen to name both new signings Olivier Giroud and Emerson Palmieri on the bench as Chelsea take on Watford.
David Luiz returns to the fold as he starts alongside Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta in defence. But, the major point of contention is Conte’s decision to start Eden Hazard in the False Nine role, despite the arrival of Olivier Giroud, who starts on the bench.

Emerson Palmieri is also good enough to make the bench and will have to bide his time for his first start in a Chelsea shirt.
