Antonio Conte has made nine changes to the side that beat Everton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday as Chelsea travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth
Davide Zappacosta and Antonio Rudiger are the only players to retain their places from the midweek game. The likes of Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and David Luiz are among the ones returning to the lineup. Cesar Azpilicueta has been handed the captain’s armband with Gary Cahill on the bench.
For Bournemouth, former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake is starting in the back-three, with Jermain Defoe among the players who have been restored to the starting lineup from last weekend’s game against Stoke City.
