David De Gea returns to the starting eleven for Manchester United, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois are missing from the respective lineups.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made four changes to the lineup that faced Anderlecht on Thursday, with David De Gea, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Ashley Young replacing Sergio Romero, Michael Carrick, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Young is the surprise choice for captain, while Luke Shaw is relegated to the bench after starting against Sunderland last weekend.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been deprived of the services of first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, with Asmir Begovic replacing the Belgian in the eleven. The rest of the side remains unchanged as last weekend’s league game against Bournemouth.
