Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new contract at Real Madrid, the club confirmed on Monday.

Ronaldo has signed a new 5-year contract, which will see him stay at the club until he is 36, should he see it out in it’s entirety.

“I’m at the best club in the world… Everyone knows what my thoughts are, I want to continue being the best, I want to wear this shirt with pride.” he said.

“I’m sure I’m going to contribute the same over the next five years as I have in my time here, scoring goals and winning titles.”

Zinedine Zidane also spoke of his pride at Ronaldo’s new contract, and expressed his wish to see Ronaldo retire at the club just as he did.
