The Manchester derby ended in heartbreak for the Man United fans, as they lost 2-1 to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The fans unanimously screamed for Rooney to be taken off throughout the game, and were disappointed at the performance by their captain.
Rooney had a first half to forget against Manchester City as he looked woefully ineffective in midfield, so much so that fans on twitter were furiously calling for him to come off.
Get Rooney off.

Manchester United fans were left frustrated at Wayne Rooney once again. The 30-year-old Englishman was noticeable in the game for all the wrong reasons, several vicious fouls and a stand-off with Guardiola.
However Wazza could do nothing as City scrambled home for the victory after two first half goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho.
