Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid beat Chelsea 3-2 in a high-scoring encounter at the Michigan Stadium.
Left-back Marcelo began the game strongly, scoring two goals within the first twenty minutes of the contest. Youngster Mariano Diaz hit a belter just before the break to triple Real’s advantage at half-time.
The second half turned out to be a completely different story, as Antonio Conte’s men came out all guns blazing. Substitute Eden Hazard continued his terrific Euro 2016 form as he netted twice in quick succession to bring his Chelsea side within touching distance. However, Zidane’s side held on to win 3-2.
