Alvaro Morata and Raphael Varane are the only two big names in Real Madrid’s starting lineup for the pre-season friendly against Chelsea FC in Michigan.
Other than the two Real Madrid academy products, the likes of Carvajal, Marcelo and Casemiro are also a few of the first team regulars who have started this game.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane seems to have gone with a simple 4-4-2 formation, with Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic operating from the midfield while Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio operate on the wings. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Castilla striker Mariano Diaz starts up front alongside Alvaro Morata. Here is the Real Madrid starting lineup.
