Brendan Rodgers’ managerial career with Celtic got off to the worst possible start, as his side suffered a shock defeat to a semi-pro Gibraltar club Lincoln Red Imps.

It’s been a rough couple of years for the former Liverpool manager. Ever since the second place league finish in 2014, things have gone sour for the Welshman. It all began with his unceremonious exit in the 2015/16 season, and now his new team suffered a shambolic loss to the lowest ranked UEFA Champions League qualifying team in the tournament.
