Wales might have suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of England, but that did not stop their talisman Gareth Bale from scoring a wonderful freekick.

In fact, Bale’s free kick had put the Welsh in front in the first half of the match. The Real Madrid superstar proved his worth as the most expensive football player on the planet by thumping a free kick from around 30-35 yards out.

England goalkeeper Joe Hart did manage to get a hand onto Bale’s free kick, but the pace of the ball was too strong for the Manchester City custodian to stop it.

However, this brilliant goal was still not enough to stop England, who fought back with second half goals from substitutes Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge.

Here is the video of Bale’s wonderful freekick.
