Leicester City shared the spoils with last season’s champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the final match day of the 2015-16 season, thanks to a wonderful late strike by Danny Drinkwater.
After giving the Foxes a guard of honour and a standing applause, the Blues took the lead in their final league game of a terrible season through a Cesc Fabregas penalty.
However, Leicester City proved yet again that this season was no fluke, as one of their most diligent performers came up with a special moment to steal a point even though they didn’t need one. Former Manchester United man Danny Drinkwater scored a long distance scorcher in the 82nd minute to make it 1-1.
