West Ham almost completed the double over Arsenal FC on Saturday, but Gunners defender Laurent Koscielny popped up inside the box to score the equaliser.
Arsenal raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half itself, with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez scoring the goals.
West Ham, who are fighting to break into the top four spots in the Premier League, were not going to give up easily. Carroll came up with two goals in the last four minutes of the first half, to put the Hammers level. He completed his hat-trick after the restart, giving his team the lead.
However, Koscielny popped up inside the West Ham box in the 70th minute to smash in a pass from Danny Welbeck, giving Arsenal the equaliser. Here’s a video of the goal.
