French sensation Dimitri Payet scored a majestic free-kick right from right outside the box, to give West Ham the lead against Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.
At the time of Payet’s free-kick, West Ham were being held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace. However, the French International’s finesse gave Hammers the lead at the stroke of half time. Crystal Palace would eventually score midway through the second half through Dwight Gayle to level the proceedings.
Payet, who has been instrumental in West Ham’s season thus far, unleashed a swirling free-kick which dipped perfectly and ended in the back of the net, leaving Crystal Palace custodian Wayne Hennessy wrong footed.
