With the Champions League Round of 16 second leg tie against PSG looming on the horizon, it seemed natural for Chelsea to rest some of their key players in the Premier League match against Stoke City.
The Blues are not really challenging for the Premier League title, and neither are they fighting a relegation battle anymore, which means that there is not much at stake for them in the Premier League. However, the Champions League is a completely different proposition, as they are currently trailing 2-1 to PSG from the first leg.
In spite of this though, the Blues came under some criticism on Twitter, for being held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke City at Stamford Bridge. Here are some of the best tweets.

There was a time where I thought Loic Remy should have had more game time. Now, he just doesn’t impress me at all.

This last tweet probably sums up the mood inside the Chelsea dressing room the best.
