Manchester United’s Spanish player Juan Mata proved to be the difference maker against a stubborn Watford side at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were forced to fight it out with a very attacking Watford side who were looking to pull off an upset at Old Trafford on Wednesday. The match looked like it was heading for a goalless draw, before Spaniard Juan Mata pulled off a moment of magic.
In the 83rd minute, the midfielder lined up to take a free kick from 20 yards out. His long-range effort found the top left corner, and Hornets’ keeper Heurelho Gomes could do nothing about it.
