2019/20 Premier League Matchday 7: Best Tips for ‘Big Six’ Fixtures and more

Arsenal and Manchester United provide the headline for the matchday. But, before their fixture on Monday night, there are other intriguing matchups at hand as well. Liverpool kick us off with a duel against Sheffield United away. West Ham will look to continue their momentum as they face Bournemouth.

Chelsea will look to bounce back from their defeat to Liverpool as they host Brighton. Wolves are still searching for their first win of the 2019-20 Premier League season but will have a good chance to achieve that against fellow strugglers Watford. Everton have a tough task waiting for them as Manchester City visit Goodison Park.

Leicester City are off to a flyer and will look to continue on the same accord at home against Newcastle United. But, the main attraction is at Old Trafford, where Arsenal will look to do something they haven’t done in over a decade, win a league match against Manchester United at United’s home.

Before we move on to the fourth matchday and the tips for the matches, let us look at how our tips for the last matchday fared.

Probables Result: 7/11 (Total: 41/67)

Total Buckshot Result: 3/3

Sheffield United vs Liverpool

Liverpool come into the game as heavy favourites. But, Sheffield United are far from pushovers and are currently in the top half of the table. The Reds have a perfect record in the 2019-20 Premier League so far and Jurgen Klopp would love for his side to keep the momentum going, especially with other title challengers dropping points early on.

The home side should provide resistance, especially with Liverpool comparatively more fragile at the back than last season. But, Liverpool look good for the win and it seems like they are running away at the top right now.

Probables:

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.80

2. Liverpool Asian Handicap -1.0 @ 1.525

Outside Chance:

1. Oliver McBurnie to score anytime @ 4.00

Chelsea vs Brighton

A match where Chelsea will start as the heavily favoured side. Brighton have not managed to impress much since their season opener and it’s mostly down to the spate of injuries Graham Potter is currently having to deal with. Chelsea though, are suspect at the back and could find themselves leaking goals to the likes of Glenn Murray and Neal Maupay.

Expect another entertaining game at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are yet to record a league win at home under Frank Lampard and chances are the wait could be over on Saturday. However, we are straying away from going for a Chelsea win, mainly down to their suspect defence.

Probables:

1. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.66

2. Chelsea Clean Sheet – NO @ 1.61

Outside Chance:

1. Neal Maupay to score anytime @ 3.75

Everton vs Manchester City

If there’s one game on Saturday that you must watch, it is the one at Goodison Park between Everton and Manchester City. City have been impressive but still find themselves 5 points behind Liverpool, thanks to the shock defeat at Norwich. Pep Guardiola will be wary his side cannot drop any more points if they are to avoid losing sight of Liverpool this early on.

Marco Silva, on the other hand, has seen Everton start their 2019-20 campaign like any of their previous seasons. A good summer has been followed by indifferent results, with the team finding goals hard to come by. It seems like Silva is yet to lock onto his preferred starting eleven and that could play into the hands of City. It’s a City win for us.

Probables:

1. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.53

Outside Chance:

1. Everton Asian Handicap +0.5 @ 3.450

Manchester United vs Arsenal

The game of the matchday pits two old foes against each other, two foes who have fallen far off their old pedestal and are now relegated to fighting mostly for top four.

Arsenal find themselves in better shape but form goes out the window in such matches. Manchester United find themselves on the bad side of luck as far as injuries are concerned and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have some crucial decisions to make regarding the starting eleven.

Mason Greenwood has proven to be a match-winner in two midweek games so far and it will be interesting to see if he can step up again for Manchester United, especially with the form that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is exhibiting leading the attack for Arsenal. Expect an enticing matchup, with a draw the likeliest outcome.

Probables:

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.53

Outside Chance:

1. Full Time Result – Draw @ 3.50
