According to a report from TEAMtalk, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all keen on signing the Italian international. The Premier League giants are all set to face stiff competition from Crystal Palace, who have an exceptional track record of developing young talent.

Marco Palestra has been a part of the Atlanta setup since 2015. He went up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to the first team in the summer of 2024. In his debut campaign, he hardly got any game time (less than 400 minutes).

As a result, they ended up sanctioning a loan move to Cagliari last summer. The 21-year-old has certainly made the most out of the opportunities that he has had in the ongoing campaign. The right-back has been involved in 30 Premier League games and has contributed towards five goals.

While the youngster prefers playing on the right flank, he has been equally effective on the left. His performances have helped him break into the Italian national team, and it has also attracted a lot of interest from across Europe.

Palestra could move to England this summer

Marco Palestra is set to return to Atalanta in the summer. While the Italian club would love to have him around, they won’t mind cashing in on him, as long as they receive the right price. They want a minimum of €45 million for the 21-year-old full-back.

Liverpool are keen on signing Marco Palestra, as his arrival will bolster both flanks, and he could be a great long-term option. Apart from the Reds, Chelsea and Arsenal have also been keeping tabs on the youngster.

The Blues consider him an ideal fit for their project, while Mikel Arteta is keen on further reinforcing his backline by signing Palestra. However, the Premier League giants could face stiff competition from Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old can be considered a major upgrade on the majority of the full-backs in the Eagles’ squad. Given their impressive track record of developing young players, they could actually lure him away.
