Iliman Ndiaye dreaming of Manchester United move

Iliman Ndiaye has done quite well at Everton arriving from Marseille, and he is being linked with a summer exit from the Merseyside club.

Iliman Ndiaye recently helped his national side, Senegal, win the Africa Cup of Nations before the ruling went in favour of Morocco, and he could now look to fight for major trophies at the club level. Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the player, but the African dreams of a move to Old Trafford, according to a report by TEAMtalk.

Can Manchester United accommodate Ndiaye?

The development is a huge boost for Manchester United. The resurgent Premier League giants could use more creativity on the flanks, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for Ndiaye.

However, the player will not be guaranteed a starting role at Manchester United. They have Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha operating on the flanks, with Amad Diallo also featuring regularly. Both Mbeumo and Cunha have been exceptional since joining Manchester United, and they are unlikely to be dropped any time soon.

However, Manchester United are looking to build a team capable of fighting for trophies and regularly competing in the UEFA Champions League, so they need a deeper squad with multiple quality options at their disposal. Pursuing the Everton attacker would be ideal for them, but the move might not be suitable for Ndiaye, who will be hoping to play regularly.

A Liverpool move seems unlikely

Meanwhile, he has been linked with a surprise move to Liverpool as well. The Premier League champions will need to replace Mohamed Salah at the end of the season, and links with the 26-year-old are understandable. However, a summer deal is highly unlikely given his allegiance to Everton.

Liverpool fans are unlikely to be happy with the arrival of an Everton player, and the Toffees will not want to lose one of their best players to their bitter rivals. Also, the fact that he is dreaming of a move to Manchester United is unlikely to go down well with Liverpool. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United are prepared to provide him with an exit route in the summer.

Ndiaye might have to accept the role of a squad player if he moves to Old Trafford. There is no doubt that he has the quality to help them improve, and he could be a great impact option for the Red Devils. The 26-year-old has six goals and three assists to his name in the Premier League this season. He could change the game in Manchester United’s favour and add a new dimension to their attack.
