The Serie A table-toppers are eager to bolster their first-team squad by signing a world-class goalkeeper in the summer transfer window as they look for a replacement for Yann Sommer. So, the 33-year-old Liverpool mainstay has emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri.
However, the report has brought bad news for Inter Milan, as the veteran goalkeeper “seems inclined to remain at the club” beyond the summer transfer window. While the South American shot-stopper is open to leaving as a free agent next year, he will push to remain in the Premier League to retain his current €6 million-a-year wages.
