Bayern Munich rival Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United in Mateus Mane chase

Bayern Munich have entered the race for Mateus Mane and faces competition from top Premier League teams for the teenager.

According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are the latest club to enter the race to sign Mateus Mane ahead of the summer. The 18-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers attacking sensation is expected to depart Wolves once their relegation is confirmed, with a host of top Premier League sides keen on the talented teenager.

Mateus Mane has made a big impact on some of the top clubs following his breakthrough season with Wolves. Although the Midlands team are having a terrible season and are primed to suffer relegation, they could lose a host of their first-team players as a result.

Mane is certainly one of those poised to depart, given the number of clubs showing strong interest in the player. They include Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, while Chelsea are also mentioned as a suitor. Wolves are set to demand a fee close to £50 million to sell their 18-year-old attacking sensation, who has a long-term contract in place.

Manchester United reportedly held talks with Mateus Mane, or his representatives, over a move, which makes the Red Devils prime contenders in the race. Chelsea are also considering a move, given that they are always in the mix for some of the hottest young talents in the league or elsewhere.

Arsenal, for their part, are also keen, having seen his talent at close quarters recently. The Gunners have a solid set-up for young talents, but it remains to be seen whether they would want to invest heavily in the 18-year-old Premier League attacking sensation, as PSG are also in the mix and ready to pay big.

Bayern Munich to enter the Mane race?

Bayern Munich are the latest to enter the race to sign Mateus Mane, with the Bundesliga champions also on the lookout for young talents with an eye on the long-term future. The Bavarian giants have recently been developing young talents in their squad and could sound out a move for Mane.

The teenage prospect from Wolves represents a solid acquisition for any of those interested teams, especially Bayern Munich. The idea would revolve around showing the teenager a pathway similar to the likes of Michael Olise and Lennart Karl, which could give them an edge in this race.
