Leeds United in talks with Valencia over Largie Ramazani loan deal

La Liga club Valencia will reportedly look to sign 24-year-old Belgian winger Largie Ramazani on loan from Leeds United in the final days of the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Beren Cross and Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, Largie Ramazani is the subject of interest from Valencia. Los Che will aim to reinforce the offensive unit by signing a wide attacker before the summer transfer window shuts down. So, the 24-year-old Leeds United winger has emerged as a target for the Spanish outfit.

Leeds United and Valencia are currently negotiating a summer deal for the Berchem-Sainte-Agathe native, and The Athletic’s sources have “described a temporary switch for the Belgian as ‘likely'” in the ongoing transfer window.

Largie Ramazani and his Leeds United situation

Largie Ramazani has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Leeds United from Almeria in a deal worth €11 million last summer. While the 24-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance in the 12 months that he has spent with the West Yorkshire outfit, he has not been an undisputed first-choice starter for the newly promoted Premier League club.

Meanwhile, the Belgian winger has not managed a single minute of game time thus far in the 2025/26 season, with Daniel Farke omitting him from the matchday squad for Leeds United’s game against Arsenal this past weekend. So, it is hardly surprising that the Whites are ready to part ways with him in the summer transfer window.

La Liga move on the horizon?

A return to Spain is on the cards for Largie Ramazani, with La Liga outfit Valencia in talks with Leeds United over a possible deal. Negotiations between the two clubs have progressed, and a season-long loan may be on the cards.

Meanwhile, Daniel Farke recently insisted that he would like Leeds United to add two new options to his squad’s offensive unit, which would be detrimental to Ramazani’s already dwindling fortunes. So, joining La Liga club Valencia on a season-long loan deal is what the former Manchester United trainee’s career needs.

An agreement depends on positive negotiations between Leeds United and Valencia. It will be interesting to see if the 24-year-old Belgian winger departs from Elland Road to move to the Mestalla in the final days of the summer transfer window.
