The Lilywhites are keen on reinforcing their first-team squad by signing a dynamic midfielder in the summer transfer window. So, the 25-year-old Inter Milan midfielder emerged as a target for the North London club.
Tottenham recently submitted an enquiry to discuss a possible move for Frattesi. In addition, the Rome native has been a target for Atletico Madrid, AS Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Nottingham Forest, and Marseille. Davide Frattesi and his spell with Inter Milan so far
Davide Frattesi has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri initially signed the 25-year-old on a season-long loan deal in July 2023 before completing a permanent move 12 months later, with the player signing a contract with €2.8 million-a-year wages.
However, Frattesi has been in and out of the starting lineup in the last two seasons. The Italian international has turned out nearly 100 times thus far for Inter Milan while chipping in with 15 goals and nine assists. However, Frattesi’s long-term future at San Siro has been certain in recent months, with widespread reports linking him with Tottenham Hotspur and other high-profile clubs.
London calling?
Davide Frattesi has been on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar for a long time. The continued interest is understandable, considering Yves Bissouma faces an uncertain future at the North London club. In addition, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr have blown hot and cold. So, Tottenham must sign a versatile midfielder this summer, with Frattesi emerging as a viable target.
Tottenham recently submitted an enquiry to discuss a possible summer move for the highly-rated midfielder. However, Frattesi has dealt a blow to the North London club, as he is ready to commit his long-term future to Inter Milan.
Apart from Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, AS Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Nottingham Forest, and Marseille were also keen on signing the 25-year-old Italian international.
